The Buttercream Boys

Marc Salmon and Nick Adamson are two stand-up comedians who want to make the world a better place. They do this by helping everyone they meet achieve their dreams in life.
In this live comedy show, they have 1 hour to do whatever it takes to make at least 1 lucky audience member’s dream come true. Will they succeed or will the world be darker for 1 more evening?
Thursday 9th October, doors open at 7:30
 Tickets – £5.00

Dead Dreams and a Drinking Problem

Dead Dreams and a Drinking Problem is exactly that. A comedy show about chasing dreams, facing self-doubt and drinking to numb the fear. Robyn Dunlop is a woman over 30, past her prime, her dreams should be dead, but she is still dreaming! She hilariously explores why she developed a drinking problem instead of chasing her dreams in her 20s and why she is most certainly not ready to give up yet!! Chasing dreams or drinking (just not as heavily)! This to-the-point, honest, looking herself in the mirror exposition has Robyn calling a spade a spade, and a drinking problem a drinking problem in an awkward, bold and rampant stand up comedy show some have called “Fabulous” and “Hilarious!”. (And there may be a musical number!)
Date & Time: Friday 17th October @8:30pm

Michael Akadiri – Don’t Call Me Uncle

Following two hit UK tours, Biggest Award in Comedy nominee and resident (junior) Doctor Michael Akadiri prescribes West Norwood with a potent preview of his latest offering, Don’t Call Me Uncle! Multi-award-winning comedian Michael is proud to wear many hats: doctor, husband & father. Evidently, that list does not include uncle.
Yet, despite only being in his early 30s, “the supremely talented and likeable” (Metro) doctor, for the first time ever, was recently called uncle in public (a term usually reserved for elders!). This has sent him spiralling!
Join the “hugely entertaining” (Chortle) Akadiri as he fights this lurid allegation, contemplates the difference between perception and reality all whilst keeping the laughs flowing with his trademark “politically punchy” (Guardian) anecdotes.
Sooz Kempner – Ugly!

Award-winning comedian Sooz Kempner (Doom in Doctor Who’s Doom’s Day, Amazon Prime’s Dinner With the Parents) is back with a brand-new show about beauty, ageing, trolling and Barbra Streisand. When the world seems ugly it’s hard to feel beautiful, not like when you’re seven and Final Score is on and nothing has ever felt more beautiful because what follows is Big Break, the Generation Game, Noel’s House Party and then either Only Fools and Horse or Birds of a Feather. How can WE find beauty in these very unattractive times?
